For those new to the concept of libertarianism or self ownership, there is a very informative and thought provoking animated introduction to Liberty that I highly recommend checking out.
In a very precise and direct fashion it points out why our individual liberty and the concept of self ownership is so important. It's based on The Adventures of Jonathan Gullible.
