Oprah must think Obama can't do it on his own...

I really take issue with those who are in the entertainment business who try to influence the uninformed in America by believing that somehow their opinion is more important than the rest of us. The news that Oprah plans to get more involved with Obama's campaign is the latest incident of an ego inflated celebrity that must not have much faith in their chosen candidates ability to win on their own. Further, this raises the whole question of equal time when it comes to media.

I would hold out hope that voters would have the common sense needed to decide for themselves who they should vote for based on their own personal opinion, unfortunately there have been more than a few times where it's obvious money and hype are more important than real substance.

Well put HT. Hell Oprah tells these couch potatoes what to read why not try to tell them who to vote for? She's just as moronic as her audience if she thinks the policies he's mentioned in his platform won't effect her. But when you make 20 million plus per year, I'm sure you can cut enough corners and make some sacrifices and limp by on 10 million after taxes!
